Creative website design: what’s new?

How does a creative start?
Morning, coffee, shower … A new day has begun, it’s time to create. Open a laptop or start a computer, in front of us the monitor, like a clean sheet. Well, not an artist. Now you need to be inspired by new achievements. The easiest way to do this is to use the Internet; everything is in its vast expanses. And before that they only spoke about Greece.

Of course, for inspiration, we will go to the Internet. That’s what I did today. Someone intelligent said: the birth of an idea transforms its creator. Then we are as designers, transformed daily.

Creative web design is a gift, but a beginner can master it. It all starts with training, then experience is accumulated, professionalism is growing. Over time, it draws its own handwriting, according to which customers recognize you, for which you appreciate. As a result, thanks to a unique approach to each project, you create unusual site designs that attract visitors, which are truly interesting.

What will be your way from 0 to perfection, a few months or a few years, depends only on you. Well, enough of the lyrics, we go to practice. What does the creative look like?
Creative website design is, first of all, the uniqueness, the embodiment of an exclusive and completely non-standard idea in the presentation of the project. Well, so, offhand, the creative implies:

the absence of any stamps;

unacceptable patterns;

experiments with colors and shades;

lack of even shapes and angles when building blocks;

bold combination of elements from different design styles;

combination of unexpected geometric shapes;

the presence of unique (!) copyright pictures, animations, photographs, special effects;

presence of non-standard typography.

Naturally, one should not confuse creativity and madness, fantasies should be grounded with at least some scientific connotation. For example, if this is a commercial site, you should not deviate from corporate themes and corporate identity.

And another important point: the finished site should not be a set of super creative chips, scattered and incompatible with each other. Design is a single whole, do not tear the space, do not blow up the brain to users. Comfortable site for the eyes and at the same time to use!
Here is our goal: to influence the feelings of potential customers through an extraordinary visual range, a unique text that makes you literally immerse yourself in information and become part of it.

Design, as the external shell of the site, plays a key role for the popularity of the site, conversion, number of sales. And, as practice shows, only an interesting site design, of course, combined with easy navigation, is able to keep the user on their pages, to increase the average number of visitors to the resource. In general, there are only three main factors that affect the interest of the target audience:

brand (promotion, recognition);

habit (when the hand itself reaches for a familiar box, automatically);

And, in fact, only the design is able to change the habit, that is, to switch attention and surpass an already promoted and recognizable brand. At the last place he is here purely nominally. Design – these are images that cause customers a positive reaction deep in the subconscious. With our rhythm of life, the dynamics bring the value of creativity to the leading position.

Drawing inspiration from my selection
1. Bokicabo.com
Extremely pleasant impressions from visiting the site. There are no restrictions in space, there are no frames and geometric shapes of blocks. Flew, flew … The cursor is lost, and it really seems that you control the flight. I do not want the page to end at all.

The photos are very dynamic, perfectly selected, more than confident that the unique ones were created just for this project. I liked it here and the combination of colors, juicy greens, forest, poppies, and the final cheerful background with polka dots. Pay attention to the original feedback form.

2. Sensisoft.com
A stunning design in terms of the number of visual details. The components are interactive and almost all functional, well, except maybe the horse and the flag 🙂 Several different locations, the designers did not stop only on the presentation page: London, Moscow, Washington, Paris, Beijing. Even if you don’t need anything from the site, you will turn around the pages and wind up positive statistics.

3. Saizenmedia.com
A different approach to the form of the site is creative, but here I want to draw your attention to the quality of the images. How fantastically generated color reproduction and sharpness. Without special effects, a feeling of heroes moving on you is created. Excellent work, deserving applause from colleagues.

4. Waterlife.nfb.ca
The site is about water and out of water, punctuated with special effects. Do not rush to click and scroll, the picture itself will tell everything about itself, just move the cursor on the screen. The cognitive project, as I understood it, is not commercial, connected with the problems of ecology and water supply of the planet, there is something about fishing and the National Film Board (Canada). You hang up for 30 minutes, and if you still start to listen and read everything …

5. Monochrome web design
I also want to show examples of creative design sites in monochrome, it looks very interesting. Here the main thing is to maintain a style that is not always possible the first time. Stick to the same color you need in a calm range.

Numerous studies on the psychology of the background palette in web design prove that monochrome pages allow the brain to use less resources when reading, and thus maintain concentration – a guest of your site simply does not subconsciously want to run away. For example, like this:

For reputable commercial sites this is what you need. Conversion increases.

Friends, I gave you my positive portion today. I am waiting for your reaction, comments and your own examples of creativity. Be sure to share your opinion about my collection, perhaps you can see something in it that I missed.
